Madi attended Horizon Academy from 3rd through 5th grade, and we’re so proud to share where her journey has taken her since!

After earning both a teaching degree and a master’s, Madi discovered a new passion during the COVID-19 pandemic: caring for dogs. What began as neighborhood dog walking and pet sitting has grown into a thriving in-home pet care business called Posie’s Place. Named after one of her beloved Labradors, Posie’s Place reflects Madi’s deep love for animals—especially Labs!

Madi continues to learn and grow as a small business owner, recently diving into the world of business planning as she shapes the future of Posie’s Place. She even welcomed her first litter of eight Labrador puppies, an exciting milestone as she expands into breeding and field training.

Outside of her professional work, Madi is also an avid runner and has completed six half marathons.

We love seeing our alumni build lives around their passions, and we’re cheering Madi on as she continues to grow Posie’s Place and follow her dreams—four paws at a time!
