A Novel Night brings our community together and celebrates a fun or fantastical piece of literature, and raises funds essential to helping Horizon Academy accomplish our mission. Past novels include: The Great Gatsby, True Grit, Harry Potter, and Alice in Wonderland. This year, we’ll explore a modern version of Greek mythology alongside Percy Jackson. Percy, who has dyslexia and ADHD, discovers he’s a demigod and has hidden superpowers. While our students may not be demigods, their powers flourish during their time at Horizon Academy. They become active, curious, and joyful students, and they grow into confident self-advocates.
