Our school year program provides students in grades K-9 the academic and emotional support they need to be successful.
Our small class sizes, individual learning plans, and Orton-Gillingham and Multisensory Math approaches are complemented by additional support in the areas of Speech & Language, Occupational Therapy, and Counseling.
Our curriculum is adapted to meet the needs of each student to ensure that he/she experiences school success. Students attending Horizon Academy will become strategic learners as they develop time management, self-advocacy, and social skills.
Students in our school year program enjoy art, music/drama, Makerspace, and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) classes once a week, Social Studies and Science twice a week, and P.E. five days a week. We believe these classes are important to the development of the whole child, as we encourage the exploration of the interests and passions of each of our students.
We have kindergarten. Click here for more information about early intervention.
