Dylan went on to Bishop Miege High School where he pursued his love of filmmaking.  He co-wrote and directed a 1-act musical at Bishop Miege, and also, for a separate project, won an award for best sound at the Kansas 24-Hour High School Film Festival.

Dylan currently attends Columbia College Chicago where he is majoring in Film. He has written and co-shot a short horror film with some of his Columbia College friends that won a regional student film award.
