Unlike supplemental tutoring programs, Horizon Academy is designed exclusively for students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and/or dyscalculia.
Why Training Matters
Rather than reduce education for children with dyslexia to supplemental instruction, Horizon Academy offers full-day schooling for children with language-based learning disabilities. Gabi Guillory Welsh is our Fellow of Record for the Orton-Gillingham Approach, leading our faculty in understanding how students with dyslexia learn best. Together, they provide individualized support and help each child thrive academically and emotionally.

Proven Approaches, High Standards
Teachers customize lessons based on each student’s demonstrated strengths and learning gaps to better support students in small group settings.
Our faculty supports students during the school year, the Summer Academic Program, and the Jump Start Summer Program, promoting continuity and trust.
Students learn in an environment where they feel understood, supported, and encouraged to find confidence in their academics.
