Instead of adding extra drills onto a traditional school day, Horizon Academy builds every lesson around how your child actually learns. We know that students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and/or dyscalculia process the world differently, and we’re here to help your child feel comfortable using their learning superpowers.

    Reaching Out

    You’ve already searched for dyslexia schools in Kansas City. Now it’s time to reach out. A member of our staff will contact you via email to explore your child’s unique learning strengths.

    Introducing Horizon Academy

    During a virtual parent meeting, we will guide you through Horizon Academy’s program and teaching methods. Then, we can schedule a screening and tour of our facilities.

    Submitting Your Application

    Once screening is complete and we determine that your child is a match for our program, you can begin the enrollment process for either the full-year or summer programs.
